What’s in a Name?
Aurumaker blends the Latin root for gold — aurum — with the spirit of engineering and creativity: maker. It reflects both where we’re based — beautiful Golden, Colorado — and what we strive to do: build valuable, lasting systems that empower science and people.
Golden is a community of educators, builders, athletes, and thinkers — and it inspires us daily. In a way, we like to think we “make gold” — and if that gives you a smile, mission accomplished.

Craig Williford and Melissa Williford are the core team behind Aurumaker.
Together, we bring over 25 years of combined experience in hardware, firmware, and software engineering. We are both proud graduates of the University of Pittsburgh, and we share a passion for solving hard problems and creating impactful solutions.
